I’ve managed to get my mitts on these beauties. Cloud Nine have just released the white version of their newest iron ‘The Touch’ and have kindly given me a pair.

This innovative invention is the world first automatic iron which includes the 360 degree swivel cord which makes styling super easy and chic with this limited edition prestigious pair.

As UK Creative ambassador for the Cloud Nine, I’ve worked alongside a small team and have designed trend inspired hair seminars for industry professionals. I recently taught out in Dubai which was an amazing experience and great to have the opportunity to see and meet hair stylists working with the brand over in the UAE.

The sessions for Cloud Nine fuse trends from the catwalk with salon friendly styling and are a great way of keeping staff and clients inspired and contemporary.

Watch this space for our new Autumn/Winter styling sessions coming soon.

Davines spoilt all attendees of The Coterie in London last week with a generous selection of their hair care and styling range. Don’t be fooled by the pretty packaging because these products don’t just sit dainty on your bathroom shelf.

Enriched with Roucou Oil and 100% Carbon neutral this wonder range not only leaves your hair with staggering shine but also makes it feel incredibly soft and frizz free.

If that isn’t enough to romance anyone the heavenly smell will blow you away. This isn’t a brand to avoid because they are certainly putting themselves on the industry map with their forward thinking range and leading ambassadors. Watch this space!

When your roots come through it can be gut wrenching, just when you thought you’d be able to get away with it for those extra few weeks, it hits you as soon as you look in the mirror. The thought of trying to get a last minute appointment pre-holiday can be a task in its self not to mention, you probably haven’t factored in the time to do so.

Colour WOW can now solve all your problems. The relatively new hair brand have been catapulted into the ‘hair-hero’ limelight with their new wonder product. The hand held device looks similar to an eye shadow palette which will camouflage your roots mid appointment and will wash in and out of your hair- so theres no need to worry.

Not just for grey hair this wonder product, is suitable for all hair types and comes in 6 different colours.  See the results for yourself, on their youtube channel.

1. Play hot and cold as you dry-When blowdrying your hair it’s important that you add a dash of cold air once you’ve finished each section. This will help set the hair and will prevent over-drying and damage.

2. Drop the towel-Keeping wet strands wrapped in a towel for a half-hour as you do your make-up will just cause frizz! The roughness of the cotton forces your hair cuticles open, making them more likely to go every-which-way. Instead, squeeze out excess water as soon as you’re out of the shower, then let your hair air-dry for five or ten minutes before blowdrying.

3.  Use dry shampoo a different way – Instead of waiting until your locks need an dirt-fighting pick-me-up, apply a dab of dry shampoo to your roots immediately after you wash and dry them. Though your hair’s already clean, the barrier will stave off the debris and oil your strands will collect throughout the day before it hits. Bonus: It also gives you killer volume.

4. Give your locks a burst of cold- Before you hop out of the shower, turn the cold water on for a second and quickly rinse it through your strands. It helps seal the cuticle, adding a sleek finish to your locks.

5.Find a shampoo that lathers less– Sudsy doesn’t necessarily mean clean—sometimes, it means the opposite. Shampoos that lather too much are often overloaded with moisturizing products, which can leave build-up in your hair, making it look and feel dirtier quicker. So opt for a sulfate-free formula (Kerastase Dicipline sulfate-free shampoo is a real delight)

I was fortunate enough to get my hands on the new Discipline collection by leading hair care brand Kerastse a few weeks before it’s recent release, so I’ve been able to put it through it’s paces.

It takes a lot for me to be amazed by a product especially if I’m going to recommend it on my blog and to my clients. I fell head over heels for this range and the rose gold packaging helps too. For my hair, it not only made my hair feel like strands of silk but it also gave it a glistening shine, which for blonde hair thats been through the wars as much as mine has, it’s a pretty miraculous occurrence.

My hair can be weighed down quite easily and I’m always striving for movement and body, so the smoothing aspect helped yet didn’t take away the texture I naturally have. I also don’t think i’ve stopped smelling my hair since I started using it, so the 7 years of research that Kerastase have put into this have certainly paid off.
