The Grand Final of the eagerly awaited IT AWARDS took place on Monday evening. Hosted by comedian Russell Kane, the event which was held at the awe-inspiring National History Museum really kicked Autumn/Winter off with a bang. Over 600 of Fashion, Media and hairdressing’s elite gathered together to celebrate young talent within the industry.
It was a huge honour last year to win THE FASHIONISTA award at the same event however this year I was so overwhelmed and it was even more incredible to be named IT GIRL, I really didn’t expect it at all.
“Undoubtedly an It Girl, presenting herself and her work incredibly well. Within seconds I had bought into Angel as a personality in her own right – she absolutely has it all.” Ruth Crilly (Model & Blogger, IT GIRL JUDGE)
Not only is the prestige of winning this award so great but I was very excited to receive an email last night telling me I had been mentioned on Vogue and Cosmopolitan’s websites, please see links below.
The GQ Men of the Year awards is arguably the most star studded event in the celebrity calendar. Last night the event was hosted by Justin Timberlake at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden and I was fortunate enough to be a part of the hair team.
Fudge sponsored the high profile event and using a combination of the FUDGE Head shine, unleaded skyscraper hair spray and the Body builder booster lotion we created fortie’s waves so the 30 model’s that were sent out onto the red carpet looked like retro Hollywood Starlet’s.
Guest’s at the ceremony included Alexa Chung, Rita Ora, Samuel L Jackson, Russell Brand and Tom Ford. My award for best hair of the evening goes to Suki Waterhouse who looked super stylish with her trademark honeycomb hair colour along with her 3/4 bangs and extra blunt ends.
